Overview
The City of Tshwane is seeking three dedicated General Workers to join its Community Services Division in Centurion. These roles focus on maintaining and improving public open spaces, natural resources, and facilities, contributing to a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable environment for the community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general maintenance in public open spaces and facilities.
  • Assist with the development of new facilities and upgrading of existing ones.
  • Perform general tasks to support operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).
  • Provide logistical support when required.

Requirements

-Ability to perform physical duties.

-Basic literacy.

-Physical fitness and good health with no back problems.

-Willingness to work shifts, standby, and overtime when required.

-Must undergo a criminal record check and allow fingerprints to be taken (at own cost).

-Knowledge and experience in pool maintenance (advantageous).
