Overview

Clicks Group, South Africaโ€™s leading health and beauty retailer, is inviting applications for 25 Shop Assistant / Cashier positions across KwaZulu-Natal. These roles focus on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accurate point-of-sale (POS) operations, and supporting in-store merchandising to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities, including scanning, payments, and handling cash safely.
  • Proactively promote and enroll customers into the Clicks ClubCard programme.
  • Inform customers of promotions to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Maintain store housekeeping, merchandising standards, and stock management processes.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and store events.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) โ€“ Essential.
  • Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level โ€“ Advantageous.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG โ€“ Advantageous.
  • Basic numeracy, computer literacy, and understanding of merchandising principles.
  • Strong communication, planning, and customer service skills.
