Overview

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for 7 Grants Administrator positions across various Eastern Cape local offices. The incumbents will provide frontline grant administration services, ensuring effective and efficient processing of social grant applications, and delivering excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer care service at local offices.
• Screen and capture grant applications, ensuring adherence to beneficiary maintenance requirements.
• Conduct administrative support, including scanning and batching of grant files.
• Provide after-care service to clients and maintain proper records.
• Perform general office administrative duties as required.

Requirements & Skills

• Education: A relevant undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognised by SAQA.
• Experience: Computer literacy is essential. Prior administrative/clerical experience will be an added advantage.
• Added Advantage: A valid driver’s license.
• Strong client service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
