Overview

Sasol is offering 14 exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to join its Learner Fire Fighter Programme, with 6 positions available in Secunda and 8 in Sasolburg. This structured learnership combines theoretical training with hands-on workplace learning, preparing candidates for a professional career in fire fighting and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the Learnership Programme and complete all assessments successfully.
• Take part in workplace readiness activities, drills, and simulations.
• Support fire prevention and emergency response activities under supervision.
• Commit to both institutional learning and on-the-job training requirements.

Entry Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent with passes in:
  • Technical Mathematics/Mathematics
  • English/Business English
  • Technical/Physical Science
• A valid Code B or higher driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass a stress and fear assessment (working at heights, confined spaces, and fire exposure).
• Must pass the official Fire Fighter fitness assessment.
