Overview

Letlhakane Police Station is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Gardener. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the police station yard, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: A2 Scale – P36,444.00 per annum (Approx. P3,037.00 monthly)
• Upkeep Allowance: P452.40 per month
• Leave: 20 working days per annum
• Age Requirement: 18–45 years
• Benefits:

  • Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15%, employee 5%)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the police yard.
• Water trees, flowers, and garden areas.
• Trim and prune trees and lawn.
• Plant trees, flowers, and lawn.
• Remove and dispose of waste materials as required.
• Clean and tidy car ports.
• Maintain gardening equipment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Entry Requirements

• Must be a Botswana citizen.
• Must have no criminal record.
• Must be physically and mentally fit.
• Minimum of Junior Certificate qualification.
