Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and skilled driver for vehicles ranging from 3501 to 9000 kg at BUCO Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods to our clients, while maintaining the integrity of the items during transit.

Key Responsibilities

-Safely deliver goods to clients, ensuring timely and efficient service.

-Ensure the vehicle is properly organized and packed to avoid damages.

-Assist in the loading and unloading process while supervising others.

-Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.

-Maintain the delivery vehicle in optimal working condition.

-Verify quantities and ensure the correct items are delivered.

-Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments when necessary.

-Handle delivery notes and ensure authorization is obtained where required.

-Provide excellent customer service, reflecting the companyโ€™s values.

-Assist in reducing operational costs related to vehicle use.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
  • Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) and Code 8 (Light Vehicle) driverโ€™s licenses (for vehicles between 3501 and 9000 kg).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
