Overview:
PepsiCo, one of the worldโ€™s leading food and beverage companies, is seeking Drivers for its Witbank DC Bread division. The ideal candidates will ensure the timely delivery of products while maintaining excellent customer service and handling financial transactions responsibly. PepsiCo South Africa is known for key brands such as Simba, Layโ€™s, and Liqui Fruit and employs over 13,000 people across various divisions.

Responsibilities:

-Deliver goods to customers promptly and efficiently.

-Manage and handle money on routes in accordance with company procedures.

-Provide excellent customer service and identify opportunities or gaps in the local market.

-Balance the driverโ€™s books with a basic understanding of reconciliation processes.

-Be accountable for the allocated route and ensure minimal discrepancies in delivery.

-Collaborate with the Sales Representative to meet customer needs.

-Maintain effective control of crates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Matric or NQF Level 3
  • License: Code 10 driverโ€™s license with a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
  • Skills:
    • Strong mathematical ability.
    • Effective communication skills in at least two official South African languages, including English.
    • Good understanding of customer service principles.
