1. Cleaner

Salary: R188 684,52 per annum
Location: Various CGS Offices

Overview:
Ensure a clean and organized environment in CGS facilities while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Maintain cleanliness in offices, meeting rooms, and common areas.

-Restock cleaning supplies as needed.

-Report maintenance issues.

Requirements:

-Grade 10 or equivalent.

-Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

-Attention to detail and reliability.


2. Food Service Assistant X2

Salary: R219 752,40 per annum
Location: Various CGS Offices

Overview:
Assist in food preparation and provide excellent service in the CGS cafeteria or dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare and serve meals and beverages.

-Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

-Follow food safety standards.

Requirements:

-Grade 10 or higher.

-Experience in food services or hospitality.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


3. Receptionist

Salary: R282 245,04 per annum
Location: Various CGS Offices

Overview:
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Answer and direct calls professionally.

-Welcome and assist visitors.

-Manage office correspondence and scheduling.

Requirements:

-Grade 12 with a certificate in office administration or similar.

-At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist role.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.


4. Business Unit Administrator

Salary: R473 741,43 per annum
Location: Various CGS Offices

Overview:
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations within a business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage schedules, meetings, and documentation.

-Maintain records and reports.

-Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

-Diploma in Office Administration or related field.

-Proven experience in administrative roles.

-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


5. Senior Technical Officer โ€“ Drill Rig Operator

Salary: R665 169,12 per annum
Location: Various CGS Locations

Overview:
Operate and maintain drill rigs for geological exploration while ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct drilling operations as per specifications.

-Maintain and repair drill rig equipment.

-Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

-Certification as a Drill Rig Operator.

-Experience in geological drilling operations.

-Strong technical and mechanical skills.


6. Editor

Salary: R665 169,12 per annum
Location: Various CGS Offices

Overview:
Edit and review scientific and technical publications to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

-Proofread and edit scientific documents and reports.

-Ensure compliance with CGS publication standards.

-Collaborate with researchers and authors.

Requirements:

-Degree in English, Journalism, or related field.

-Experience in editing scientific or technical publications.

-Exceptional attention to detail and language proficiency.


7. GIS Senior Technical Officer

Salary: R665 169,12 per annum
Location: Various CGS Locations

Overview:
Manage GIS data and provide geospatial support for research and analysis projects.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and manage GIS databases.

-Perform spatial analysis and mapping.

-Support geoscience research with geospatial insights.

Requirements:

-Degree/Diploma in GIS or Geoinformatics.

-Experience in GIS software and geospatial analysis.

-Strong problem-solving and technical skills.


8. Regional Coordinator

Salary: R555 177,94 per annum
Location: Various CGS Regional Offices

Overview:
Coordinate and oversee regional operations, ensuring alignment with CGS goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage regional staff and resources.

-Monitor project progress and deliverables.

-Liaise with stakeholders and communities.

Requirements:

-Degree in Project Management or related field.

-Proven experience in regional or operational management.

-Strong leadership and organizational skills.


9. Administrative Officer โ€“ Fleet

Salary: R473 741,43 per annum
Location: Various CGS Offices

Overview:
Manage and coordinate the organizationโ€™s fleet operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Schedule and monitor fleet maintenance.

-Maintain accurate fleet records and reports.

-Ensure compliance with transport regulations.

Requirements:

-Diploma in Logistics, Administration, or related field.

-Experience in fleet management or administration.

-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
