Position Summary:
Afrirent Logistics is seeking experienced Code 14 (EC) Truck Drivers with a valid PrDP to join their professional logistics team in Centurion. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods across short and long-haul routes, maintaining high levels of safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- Age: Between 38 and 58 years old
- Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s License
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Minimum 4-8 years’ truck driving experience
- At least 5 years’ experience driving Superlink or tautliner trucks (with contactable references)
- Experience in long-haul and short-haul routes
- Clear criminal record
- Valid passport required
- Dangerous Goods Training Certificate is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport goods over short and long-distance routes
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent Afrirent professionally
- Ensure goods are safely loaded and offloaded
- Comply with road safety regulations and company SOPs
- Maintain good client relationships during deliveries
- Carry out regular inspections and ensure vehicle is roadworthy
