Overview

Sasol, a globally recognized integrated chemicals and energy company with a 70-year history, is recruiting for an Administrative Clerk in Secunda. This role provides comprehensive administrative support, ensuring seamless operations, effective coordination, and efficient team workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support including handling inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Manage facilities including booking meeting rooms and ensuring logistical arrangements.
  • Maintain and update scheduling and event calendars.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, itineraries).
  • Assist with planning and organizing events, conferences, and functions.
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and equipment.
  • Prepare, type, and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintain filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
  • Answer telephones, manage inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Capture, reconcile, and manipulate data for management reporting.
  • Handle mail distribution and manage photocopying/printing requests.
  • Provide financial administration support, including record-keeping and invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and service level agreements.

Requirements & Skills

  • Education: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or N3 qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant administrative experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
