How to Apply for SAPS Re-Enlistment Vacancies

Applicants must use the official SAPS application form.

The form is available from:

  • The SAPS website
  • SAPS Police Stations
  • SAPS Recruitment Offices

Important: Do Not Use the Z83 Form

SAPS specifically states that the Z83 form previously used will no longer be accepted for these applications.

Applicants must use the official SAPS application form and follow all instructions carefully.

Failure to comply with the application instructions may result in the application being rejected.

Documents to Submit

The application should be accompanied by:

  • Completed official SAPS application form
  • Comprehensive CV
  • Uncertified copy of South African ID
  • Uncertified copy of Senior Certificate/Grade 12
  • Uncertified copies of all other educational qualifications obtained
  • Service certificates from previous employers stating the occupation
  • Proof of relevant experience
  • Copy of valid motor vehicle driver’s licence

Applicants must also ensure that the post particulars and reference number are correctly stated on the application form.

Original documentation will be requested from shortlisted candidates during the selection process where required.
