CV Tips for SASSA Internship Applicants

For the graduate internships, put your relevant Diploma or Degree prominently near the top of your CV. State the full qualification, institution and completion year.

For the WIL opportunities, clearly indicate that you have completed N6 and list your relevant subjects/modules. Your CV should also make it clear that you require workplace exposure to complete your qualification requirements.

Keep your CV professional and focus on relevant academic and practical skills. Depending on your field, this could include genuine skills in administration, financial accounting, communication, customer service, computer literacy, record keeping or document management.

Because these programmes target unemployed graduates and TVET learners, do not invent previous employment simply to make your CV look stronger.

Example CV Profile for a WIL Applicant

โ€œMotivated N6 Public Management graduate seeking Work Integrated Learning exposure to fulfil the practical requirements of my qualification. Organised, reliable and willing to learn, with good communication, administrative and computer skills. Eager to gain practical public-sector experience while contributing positively to the operations of SASSA.โ€

Adapt this to your actual qualification and skills.
