Overview
Tataki Mine is seeking a qualified and experienced Artisan Boilermaker to carry out welding, fabrication, and breakdown maintenance work. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform fabrication and repair work in line with safety and operational standards.
-Conduct inspections and identify defects for onsite or workshop-based repairs.
-Adhere to inspection checklists and update records accordingly.
-Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and follow proper procedures.
-Interpret drawings using integrated systems.
-Promote and enforce SHEQ and housekeeping procedures.
Requirements and Skills
-Minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in a mining or heavy industry environment.
-National Craft Certificate (NCC) or equivalent in Boilermaking and Fabrication.
-Proficient in welding and fabrication.
-Ability to work independently and interpret technical drawings.
-Knowledge of ADDR training and procedures will be an advantage.
