Overview:
BEDCO is seeking a qualified Human Resource Consultant to join its team of Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs). The selected consultant will support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in establishing efficient, legally compliant, and productive HR systems that foster organizational growth and employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review HR policies and procedures for SMEs
- Provide guidance on recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention strategies
- Advise on performance management systems and employee evaluations
- Assist with labour law compliance, contracts, and disciplinary procedures
- Facilitate HR training workshops for SME owners and staff
- Support the development of HR structures aligned with business needs and growth
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SABPP, CIPD) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR consulting, business advisory, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of Lesothoโs labour legislation and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
