Overview

Sethren Holdings is hiring four (4) experienced Boilermakers to join its maintenance and engineering team in Mookane. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in heavy fabrication, structural work, and mechanical repairs, with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in mining, construction, or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

-Fabricate, assemble, and install steel structures, chutes, tanks, frames, etc.

-Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings

-Cut, weld, bend, and shape metal parts using tools and equipment

-Inspect and maintain plant structures and machinery for integrity and safety

-Repair or replace damaged components in plant structures

-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas

-Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on projects and shutdowns

Requirements

-Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified Boilermaker

–Trade Test Certificate in Boilermaking (essential)

-Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently

-Physically fit for confined spaces or working at heights

-Strong safety awareness and compliance

Advantages

Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
Rigging and working-at-heights certifications (preferred, not essential)
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and structural integrity
