Overview

Boxer Superstores is offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented HR Clerk at the Benoni Distribution Centre. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about time and attendance management, payroll administration, recruitment support, and HR compliance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting smooth HR operations within a fast-paced distribution environment while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to HR policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities

Time & Attendance Management

  • Ensure accurate recording and monitoring of attendance, leave, overtime, and clocking reports.
  • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of clocking machines.
  • Manage leave records and ensure compliance with HR policies.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Liaise with Head Office regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, unpaid leave, transfers, and related changes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and staff structures.
  • Update and maintain employee files.

Recruitment Support

  • Assist in sourcing replacements for terminations and absenteeism.
  • Provide support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Respond to HR-related queries from employees and management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) โ€“ Essential.
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources โ€“ Preferred.
  • 2โ€“3 years relevant HR experience (preferably in a distribution or operational environment).
  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures, especially time & attendance and leave management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate within a team.
