Overview
BUCO is seeking skilled and reliable Drivers (3501 – 9000 Kg) to join our team at various locations across South Africa. The role involves delivering goods safely and efficiently to clients while ensuring all items arrive in excellent condition and without shortages. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a commitment to upholding the companyโs values and culture.
Key Responsibilities
-Deliver goods promptly and safely to clients.
-Ensure vehicles are neatly packed and items are secured to prevent damages or breakages.
-Supervise and assist with loading and unloading items.
-Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs.
-Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
-Accurately supply the correct quantities of items as per delivery instructions.
-Authorize delivery notes and collect COD payments when applicable.
-Minimize vehicle-related costs by adhering to efficient driving practices.
-Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and uphold the companyโs values.
Requirements
–Education: Grade 12 certificate.
–License: Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) license.
–Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
