Overview

FNB Lesotho is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Card Manager to lead the bankโ€™s card operations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and service excellence. This role plays a strategic part in enhancing the customer experience, improving processing systems, and supporting financial performance through best-in-class service delivery in the cards and payments environment.


Position Purpose

To establish and manage card processing operations by driving operational efficiency, maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and supporting strategic financial goals through innovation in customer service and product delivery.


Key Responsibilities

-Identify and mitigate financial risks related to the annual business plan and ensure adherence to budget controls.

-Analyse and interpret budget variance reports to support accurate financial planning and cost management.

-Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, implementing proactive models to prevent recurring issues.

-Enhance customer experience by aligning service delivery processes and ensuring a customer-first approach across all channels.

-Implement best practice customer service models and evaluate all touchpoints for effectiveness.

-Ensure the card operations team complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and bank policies.

-Manage relationships with card networks (Visa, Mastercard) and monitor system performance.

-Plan, execute, monitor, and assess operational processes to support sales and service excellence.


Minimum Requirements

-Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent.

-Masterโ€™s degree is an added advantage.

-2โ€“3 yearsโ€™ experience in banking, financial services, or payments sector.

-Proven experience in card operations, product management, or payments processing.

-Familiarity with global card networks such as Visa and Mastercard.
