Estimated Remuneration:
- Basic Salary Scale: R242,640 – R337,008 per annum
- Total Package (Including Benefits): R340,769 – R460,882 per annum
Overview:
The Tshwane Metro Police Department is seeking to appoint 10 qualified and professional Cashiers within the Support and Administration Division. These positions are key to delivering efficient, accurate cashier and administrative services to the Transgression Management Subsection across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
-Capture and process payments using the system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
-Perform daily cash-up and reconciliation functions.
-Handle public enquiries related to AARTO and municipal by-law notices.
-Capture data accurately for AARTO, Section 341, and Section 56 notices.
-Conduct general administrative duties as required within the department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant experience in administrative and/or cashier environments
- Computer literacy
- No criminal record or pending criminal/disciplinary cases
- Not listed on the Sexual Offenders Register
- Willingness to undergo fingerprint verification at own cost
- Willingness to be deployed or relocated across various Tshwane regions based on operational needs
