TWK Agri is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Cashier to join the Trade Division at our Bethal Retail branch. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working with customers, handling money, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and service.

Job Overview

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing purchases, managing cash and card transactions, issuing receipts, and ensuring a clean, well-organised checkout area. You will also assist with general store duties, including stock rotation and pricing.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Transactions

-Greet customers entering the store

-Process cash and card payments

-Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change

-Identify and enter prices using scanners, registers, or calculators

-Record and compute all transactions accurately

-Maintain balance sheets of daily transactions

Cash Handling

  • Count cash drawer at start and end of shift
  • Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins
  • Ensure correct float and adequate change

Store Support Duties

  • Bag, box, and wrap merchandise
  • Prepare packages for shipment
  • Stock shelves and mark prices
  • Assist with stock takes
  • Maintain a clean, organised checkout area

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Computer literate
  • Previous cashier experience
  • Strong numeracy and cash-handling abilities
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
