Overview

Airlink is seeking a diligent Cleaner to support the upkeep of Airlink facilities and aircraft. The role ensures cabins, galleys, lavatories, and workspaces are cleaned to prescribed standards, in line with applicable aircraft maintenance and cleaning procedures and strict safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform interior and exterior aircraft cleaning in accordance with approved procedures.

-Clean and sanitise cabins, galleys, lavatories, tray tables, overhead bins, carpets, and windows.

-Replenish cabin consumables where required and ensure correct disposal of waste.

-Clean and maintain Airlink facilities and crew/operations areas to hygiene standards.

-Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely; care for and store equipment after use.

-Adhere to safety and hazard protocols, PPE requirements, and reporting lines.

-Meet turnaround time targets and escalate any defects, spillages, or hazards to supervisors.

-Complete basic checklists/documentation as required by procedures.

Requirements & Skills

-Grade 12 certificate or equivalent N4 (minimum).

-Experience within a cleaning and/or aviation environment (advantageous).

-Completed safety hazard training (advantageous).

-Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work to tight timelines.

-Physically able to perform manual tasks (standing, lifting, bending).

-Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork; basic communication skills.

-Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as operationally required.
