Overview

The Limpopo Department of Education is recruiting 68 Cleaners across various districts and circuits. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in offices, corridors, classrooms, boardrooms, and general working areas. The successful candidate must be able to perform cleaning duties effectively and work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

– Provide cleaning services in offices, corridors, elevators, boardrooms and other designated areas.
– Dust, sweep, scrub, wax and vacuum floors.
– Clean walls, windows, doors and remove waste.
– Provide kitchen and restroom cleaning services, including washing basins and replenishing consumables.
– Maintain cleaning materials, tools and equipment.
– Report faulty cleaning equipment and cleaning-related issues.
– Freshen office areas and ensure hygienic working conditions.

Minimum Requirements

– Grade 10 or equivalent.
– Grade 12 is an added advantage.
– Exposure to cleaning work environment.
– A cleaning certificate will be an added advantage.
