Job Opportunity:

Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd is recruiting 37 professional drivers nationwide for immediate placement. This includes:

– Code 08 Drivers
– Code 10 Drivers
– Code 14 Drivers

Duties & Responsibilities:

– Drive company vehicles along assigned routes and schedules.
– Deliver and collect parcels or freight safely and on time.
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any faults or damage.
– Complete delivery documentation accurately (waybills, PODs, manifests).
– Comply with all road traffic laws and company safety regulations.
– Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and management.
– Assist with loading and unloading when required.
– Report delivery issues, delays, or accidents immediately.
– Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

– Valid Code 08, Code 10 or Code 14 Driver’s Licence with a PrDP.
– Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience (preferably in courier, logistics, or freight).
– Clean driving record, with no major traffic violations or accidents.
– Good knowledge of national road networks and GPS navigation.
– Physically fit to handle parcels and perform operational duties.
– Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
– Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
– Customer service oriented and professional at all times.

Additional Notes:

– Code 14 Drivers (x10 positions) will be responsible for long-distance heavy-duty deliveries, including freight haulage and bulk transport.
– Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
