Job Overview
Impact Human Resources is seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver to join our team in Epping, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and road safety.
This role is ideal for a disciplined, punctual, and customer-focused driver with strong knowledge of transport procedures.
Key Responsibilities
-Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations
-Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
-Ensure timely completion of deliveries and collections
-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-Report any defects or maintenance issues immediately
-Maintain accurate trip records (mileage, fuel usage, delivery logs)
-Assist with loading and unloading goods when required
-Provide courteous and professional customer service
Minimum Requirements
-Valid Code 10 Driverโs Licence
-Minimum 2 yearsโ driving experience
-Clean driving record (no traffic violations)
-Sound understanding of road safety regulations
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Physically able to assist with loading/unloading
-Ability to work independently and within a team
-Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating commercial vehicles or trucks
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ability to use GPS navigation systems
