RiseUp Management is seeking experienced Code 14 Drivers to join our clientโ€™s operations in Atlantis, Northern Suburbs (Cape Town). This role is ideal for reliable, safety-focused drivers with proven interlink and dangerous goods experience.

Minimum Requirements

-Grade 12 (Matric)

–Valid Code 14 Driverโ€™s Licence (must have been obtained before 2020)

-*At least 3 years of recent Code 14 driving experience

-Experience driving interlink trucks

-Valid Dangerous Goods (DGP) Certificate

-Clean driving record

-Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Transport Goods Safely & Efficiently

-Operate interlink trucks on designated routes

-Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, transported, and offloaded safely

Safety & Compliance

-Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

-Report mechanical faults or safety concerns immediately

Handling Dangerous Goods

-Transport hazardous materials legally and safely

-Keep Dangerous Goods documentation accurate and updated

Documentation & Reporting

-Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times

-Ensure all permits, waybills, and paperwork are correctly completed

Communication & Customer Service

-Liaise effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams

-Provide professional service and ensure timely deliveries

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

-Monitor vehicle condition and perform basic routine checks

-Report any damage or maintenance needs to the fleet manager
