Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver, you will:
- Load and unload trucks, vehicles, and trailers efficiently.
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs and secure customer signatures for delivered or collected goods/cargo.
- Verify that goods loaded or delivered match waybills, transport delivery notes, and invoices.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and operational readiness.
- Refuel vehicles according to scheduled intervals.
- Update logbooks promptly and accurately.
- Engage professionally with customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve complaints effectively.
Requirements
Education:
- Matric/Grade 12
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 yearsโ experience driving heavy vehicles (Code 14).
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of the logistics and road freight industry.
Competencies:
- Attention to detail and strong planning skills.
- Ability to manage pressure and deliver results.
- Exceptional driving skills and professionalism.
- Customer-focused approach with effective problem-solving abilities.
