Overview:
Empact Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join its culinary team. This is a remote position suited for individuals with a strong background in contract catering and a passion for delivering high-quality food service. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for daily kitchen production, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare food daily according to production schedules and recipe guidelines
-Ensure the delivery of high-quality meals aligned with client and customer expectations
-Follow hygiene and food safety protocols at all times
-Support team collaboration in the kitchen environment
-Prepare meals for special diets as required
-Work efficiently under pressure to meet service deadlines
Minimum Requirements:
-Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
-Minimum of 2 yearsโ experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment
-Customer service experience (essential)
-Professional Cookery Certificate (advantageous)
-Previous experience in a hotel environment is an added advantage
Skills and Competencies:
-Knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards
-Understanding of special dietary requirements
-Strong teamwork and communication skills
-Ability to work in high-pressure environments
