Overview

Tataki Mine is seeking an experienced and certified Crane Operator to operate mobile and fixed cranes for lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment around the mine site. The role demands strict adherence to safety regulations and precision in all crane operations.

Key Responsibilities

-Operate cranes safely to lift, move, and position loads as per operational requirements.

-Inspect and maintain crane equipment before and after use.

-Follow site instructions and lifting plans to complete tasks efficiently.

-Report mechanical failures or safety hazards immediately.

-Maintain accurate lifting records and checklists.

-Assist rigging teams and ensure correct attachment of loads.

-Comply with mine health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements and Skills

-Valid Crane Operator certification and license.

-Minimum three (3) years’ experience operating cranes in mining or heavy industry.

-Knowledge of crane operations, safety procedures, and load limits.

-Strong hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.

-Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and technical drawings.

-Physically fit and medically cleared for heavy equipment operation.
