Overview

eTV is offering a Credit Controller Internship for graduates in Finance or Credit Management. This opportunity provides exposure to the full credit control function within a fast-paced media environment. Interns will work closely with the Credit Control team, gaining hands-on experience in accounts management, reconciliations, payment follow-ups, and financial recordkeeping.


Key Responsibilities

-Assist with daily administrative tasks including retrieving bank statements and filing.

-Update customer information and payment records in Excel.

-Scan and store credit management documents in the correct folders.

-Follow up on outstanding payments.

-Maintain and reconcile the debtors age analysis report.

-Capture payments using Sage and assist with daily bank reconciliations.

-Support BTS functions, including account creation and contract management.

-Create manual invoices and distribute statements and invoices to clients.

-Respond to client queries effectively and within set timeframes.


Requirements and Skills

Entry Requirements:

-National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).

-Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in Finance or Credit Management.

-South African citizenship.

-Aged under 35 years.

-Must not be currently or previously enrolled in a SETA-funded internship.

Skills and Competencies:

-Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

-Good command of English (written and verbal).

-Ability to adapt and learn quickly.

-Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

-Proactive approach and ability to take initiative.
