Overview

Right to Care is recruiting Data Capturers to support HIV programme data management across facilities in the Gert Sibande District. The role focuses on accurate, confidential capturing and cleaning of patient data (LYNX App), daily production tracking, and collaboration with M&E teams to meet reporting deadlines (e.g., PEPFAR and DoH).

Key Responsibilities

-Capture and update all relevant HIV patient data on the LYNX App at facility level.

-Meet agreed daily capture targets and maintain personal data-entry statistics.

-Uphold strict patient confidentiality and data security protocols.

-Compile daily Blitz Reports and assist with data cleaning and verifications.

-Support report compilation (VCT, TB, PMTCT, Care, ART, etc.) with the data/M&E team.

-Provide short-term cover for key data tasks during staff shortages/leave (as directed).

-Participate in mandatory in-house training; proactively pursue skills development.

Requirements & Skills

Matric (Grade 12).

-Post-matric computer literacy certificate (incl. Excel) or equivalent experience.

-Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS and data confidentiality.

1 year data capturing experience (minimum).

-Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management; able to meet daily throughput targets.

Clear communication; team collaboration; problem-solving orientation.

Desirable

-Post-matric diploma in computer literacy (incl. Excel) or equivalent.

2 years data capturing experience.

-Exposure to health information systems and HIV/TB programme reporting.
