Job Opportunity:

DOT Service (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced De-Fleeter / Driver to join their client’s fleet operations team in Pinetown. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on driving experience and a strong eye for vehicle inspection, maintenance, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collect, deliver, and relocate vehicles between depots, clients, and auction sites.
– Conduct thorough vehicle inspections for damages, mileage, and fuel levels before and after each trip.
– Ensure all vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and ready for handover.
– Complete and file all required vehicle documentation accurately.
– Adhere strictly to company policies, traffic regulations, and road safety standards.
– Assist with fleet operations such as refuelling, tyre checks, and reporting mechanical or maintenance issues.
– Support team members with transport-related logistics and operational tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

– Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code 8 or higher).
– Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.
– Previous experience in fleet management or de-fleeting operations (advantageous).
– Able to start immediately.
– Strong understanding of road safety rules and vehicle handling.
– Attention to detail when inspecting vehicles.
– Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
– Clear criminal record and sober habits.
