Overview:

Decofurn Furniture, a leading importer, manufacturer, and retailer with 12 stores nationwide and a strong online presence, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to join its Centurion branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily till operations, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage all till transactions and maintain the till’s cash float

-Process invoices, lay-bys, receipts, returns, and refunds

-Handle approved petty cash advances

-Assist with sales orders and perform general administrative duties

-Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients

-Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cash office

Requirements and Skills:

-Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent

-Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cashier

-Experience with Sage Pastel is advantageous

-Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Sheets

-Strong attention to detail

-Clear and professional verbal communication skills
