Dis-Chem is seeking applicants who are passionate about healthcare and eager to build a future in pharmaceutical retail by completing a formal Dispensary Support qualification.


๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in selling Schedule 1 medicines under pharmacist supervision

-Support preparation of non-sterile medicines per SOP

-Ensure accurate script interpretation and compliance with legal standards

-Pack, label, and confirm medication with pharmacist oversight

-Maintain stock control, expiry checks, and dispensary hygiene

-Handle patient calls, chronic script authorizations, and scheme queries

-Provide basic health information and manage patient follow-ups


โœ… Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate with:
    • Pure Mathematics โ€“ Minimum 50%
    • Life Sciences and/or Physical Sciences
    • Overall average of at least 50%
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to SOPs and legal guidelines
