Overview
SPV Mining is currently seeking skilled and experienced Drill Rig Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling rigs while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with solid drilling experience looking to work in a dynamic and growth-focused mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Operate core or rotary drilling rigs and equipment effectively and safely.
-Maintain drilling machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
-Interpret geological formations and apply appropriate drilling parameters.
-Follow and uphold site safety procedures and participate in risk management activities.
-Support the drilling team in meeting project goals and deadlines.
Requirements and Skills
-Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in core or rotary drilling.
-Proven ability to operate and maintain drilling rigs and associated equipment.
-Solid understanding of geological formations and drilling parameters.
-Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
-Certification in drilling operations or machinery will be an added advantage.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
