Overview:
The Lion Match Company (Pty) Ltd is currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Driver โ€“ Code 14 to join the Warehouse Department based at Quality Products in Cornubia. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, safe, and compliant delivery of goods while upholding the companyโ€™s commitment to service excellence and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Plan and follow cost-effective daily routes

-Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations at all times

-Maintain open communication with the Warehouse Manager and dispatch team

-Perform and complete daily vehicle inspection checklists

-Report vehicle defects and complete maintenance reports

-Monitor and adjust routes based on weather and traffic conditions

-Train subordinates aiming to qualify for driver positions

-Maintain valid and updated driverโ€™s licence and qualifications

-Comply with all Health and Safety protocols and reporting procedures

-Provide certified documentation when required for audits or compliance

Minimum Requirements:

-Valid Code 14 Driverโ€™s Licence

-Matric (Senior Certificate)

-Strong understanding of logistics, route planning, and road safety

-Excellent communication and time-management skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Experience in warehouse operations or logistics will be an added advantage
