Tower Group is recruiting 10 experienced Drivers for a leading car-rental client. If you’re a safe, courteous and reliable driver with strong customer-focus and proven trailer-towing ability, we’d like to meet you.

Minimum Requirements

– Grade 12 / Matric (or NQF 4 equivalent)
– Valid, unendorsed Code 8 (B) driver’s licence (held for 2+ years)
– 2 years’ relevant driving experience (fleet, courier, rentals or logistics)
– Computer literate (basic level)
– Fully bilingual: fluent in English & Afrikaans (speak, read, write)
– Reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town
– Code C1 licence advantageous
– Proven trailer towing competence advantageous

Main Job Functions

– Deliver and collect golf carts using a trailer to/from golf courses and private customers
– Deliver and collect parts using a bakkie to various sites and customers
– Plan routes and use navigation apps to ensure on-time deliveries/collections
– Keep assigned vehicles clean, presentable, and fuelled (interior & exterior)
– Complete delivery documentation accurately (waybills / PODs)
– Run office errands (stationery, ad hoc collections) as needed
– Assist in-house and field technicians when required
– Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers and team members
– Adhere to traffic laws, company policies and safety standards at all times
