Overview

The Limpopo Department of Education requires 8 experienced Drivers to support transport operations within Stores Services. The role involves transporting staff, delivering goods and materials, route planning, and maintaining vehicle safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

– Transport staff safely to designated locations.
– Plan and follow efficient routes.
– Load and unload materials and goods.
– Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
– Report vehicle defects and arrange routine servicing.
– Maintain accurate records such as logbooks, fuel logs, and delivery reports.

Minimum Requirements

– Grade 10 or equivalent.
– Grade 12 is an added advantage.
– Valid driver’s licence.
– 5 years’ driving experience.
– Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is an added advantage.
– Ability to pass a driving test during appointment.
