Overview

Eastern Chrome Mines is recruiting 2 Belt Attendants (B1) to join the engineering team at Thorncliffe Mine. The successful candidates will support conveyor belt operations to ensure safe, continuous, and optimal production within the chrome mining environment.

This role is critical in maintaining efficient material flow through the conveyor belt system and supporting overall mining production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist within the engineering section to support safe and optimal production
• Operate, maintain and service conveyor belt systems
• Monitor belt performance and report defects or abnormalities
• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks
• Ensure compliance with mine safety standards and procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards around conveyor systems
• Work as part of a dedicated operations team
