About the Learnership
The Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2 โ Unemployed) is designed to provide participants with:

- Learnership Electrician โ x2
- Learnership Boilermaker โ x1
- Mechanical Fitter โ x2
- Rigger โ x2
- Diesel Mechanic โ x2
- Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic โ x1
- Auto Electrician โ x2
- Millwright โ x2
- Measurement Control & Instrumentation โ x1
Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet ONE of the following criteria:
Option 1: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy) โ 40% minimum
- Physical Science โ 40% minimum
- English โ 40% minimum
Option 2: N3 with the relevant discipline subjects
Examples:
- Boilermaker: Plating & Structural Steelwork, Welding Theory, Steelwork Drawings
- Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory, Electrotechnology, Electrotechnics, Industrial Electronics
- OR Engineering Drawings
Option 3: NCV Level 4
- Relevant trade field
- All subjects passed with minimum 40%
