Overview
The City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Bus Services (Metrobus) invites applications for 15 positions under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). This opportunity is aimed at unemployed Johannesburg residents who wish to gain valuable work experience and contribute to community service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of general workers under the EPWP program.
- Ensure assigned daily tasks are carried out effectively and safely.
- Provide guidance, allocate duties, and maintain discipline within the team.
- Assist with operational duties at Metrobus depots and outlets.
- Support reporting and record-keeping for EPWP activities.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
- Post-matric qualification will be an added advantage.
- Must be a South African citizen residing in the City of Johannesburg (attach recent proof of address).
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Only unemployed applicants will be considered.
