Overview
The Gauteng Department of Education is seeking applications from qualified South Africans for Examination Assistant and Quality Assurer positions to support the administration of the 2025 examinations. Successful candidates will assist in ensuring smooth exam operations, accurate marking processes, and adherence to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration and processing of examination scripts.
  • Ensure accurate handling, sorting, and packaging of exam materials.
  • Check and verify marking accuracy for Quality Assurance.
  • Meet strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Entry Requirements

  • Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate Vocational.
  • Must be a registered tertiary student, an unemployed person with at least one tertiary qualification, or an unemployed graduate.
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy at Grade 12 level.
  • Advantage: Second-year tertiary students and above.
  • Previous experience in examination administration (as Examination Assistant or Quality Assurer) will be an added advantage.
