Overview:

Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) and Sasai Econet Financial Services (SEFS) hereby invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from locally registered audit firms with a demonstrated track record to provide External Audit Services for both organizations.

This engagement will cover a period of four (4) years, starting with the financial year ending 28 February 2026. The purpose is to ensure the financial statements of ETL and SEFS are accurate and comply with applicable accounting standards, offering reasonable assurance against material misstatements due to fraud or error.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested audit firms must meet the following requirements:

• Be a registered member of the Lesotho Institution of Accountants (LIA)
• Possess a valid tax clearance certificate
• Have valid practicing certificates for all engagement partners

Deliverables:

The appointed firm will be expected to provide the following outputs:

• Interim audit report findings
• Final audit report findings
• Management letter reports
• An independent auditor’s report including the audit opinion
