The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate counting, verification, and reconciliation of clientsโ€™ money in a secure and high-pressure environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and verify large volumes of cash received from clients
  • Operate cash counting machines efficiently
  • Adhere strictly to all cash processing procedures and security protocols
  • Balance and reconcile cash received at end of shift
  • Prepare and pack Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) as required
  • Support the branch in maintaining accurate and secure money-handling operations

Requirements and Skills:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 1-2 yearsโ€™ experience as a cashier or in a similar cash-handling role will be an advantage but not required
  • Clear criminal record
  • Computer literate and familiar with money counting systems
  • Strong numeric skills and high attention to detail
  • Able to follow instructions accurately and maintain alertness under pressure
  • Must be honest, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Good verbal communication and language skills
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
