We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Flexi Store Assistant to join our team at Mall of Africa. This role is perfect for individuals with a flair for luxury fashion, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to adapt to part-time retail demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Control & Accuracy
-Perform accurate cash desk duties with zero variances
-Follow strict daily cash control and banking procedures
-Handle manual transactions when required
Stock Management & Organisation
-Execute stock control processes and manage daily stock routines
-Assist with fulfilling customer orders and maintaining product presentation
-Conduct weekly stock counts and maintain storeroom organization
-Complete shoe pairing exercises to ensure display and stock accuracy
Customer Service & Sales Support
-Deliver expert, personalized service to customers
-Share in-depth product knowledge to assist and influence purchase decisions
-Maintain a high level of professionalism that reflects the Kurt Geiger brand
-Support team success through collaboration and a customer-first approach
Minimum Requirements:
-Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory)
-6 months to 1 year of retail experience (luxury or fashion retail preferred)
-Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak retail periods
-Passion for fashion, customer service, and luxury brands
Key Skills and Attributes:
-Strong numeracy and accuracy in handling transactions
-Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
-Attention to detail and understanding of luxury retail standards
-A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills
-A proactive team player with a positive attitude
