Key Responsibilities

-Render general municipal services in assigned section (cleaning, refuse collection, grounds maintenance, basic support on roads/storm-water/water/sanitation facilities).

-Operate basic tools and equipment safely; load/unload materials.

-Follow daily instructions, complete task registers, and report defects or hazards.

-Uphold service standards and comply with OHS and municipal procedures.

Minimum Requirements

–Basic Literacy (Grade 8 or higher).

-Ability to communicate in at least two official languages of Mangaung Metro.

-Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.

-Willing to work normal, emergency and planned overtime/shift hours.
