Golden North Proprietary Limited invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Extra-Heavy Duty Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles, including crane trucks, in compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.

Job Purpose

To drive and operate heavy-duty vehicles and crane trucks while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational standards, and statutory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

-Transport materials, equipment, and machinery both cross-border and locally using various vehicles, including super links, triaxles, and lowbeds.

-Conduct routine inspections on trucks, trailers, and crane equipment, ensuring they are serviced according to the maintenance schedule.

-Strictly follow operational procedures, equipment standards, and specifications.

-Complete and update all necessary documentation, such as vehicle inspection checklists and load sheets.

-Monitor vehicle mileage and ensure timely servicing.

-Comply with statutory requirements, including obtaining and maintaining permits and adhering to speed limits.

-Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and crane trucks, aligning with company standards.

-Participate actively in company-driven safety and environmental training programs.

-Conduct bush trips using 4×4 or 6×6 trucks into the Delta region.

Requirements

  • EC Extra Heavy-Duty Driverโ€™s License.
  • PrDP Goods certification.
  • Certification in Crane Truck Operation.
  • 5โ€“8 yearsโ€™ work experience in a similar role.
