Salary
- Annual Salary: R228,321 โ R268,950 per annum (excluding benefits)
Role Purpose
The Grant Administrator provides frontline grant services to beneficiaries, ensuring accurate processing, assessment, and administration of social grant applications in line with SASSA policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional grant customer services to clients
- Screen, capture, and process grant applications accurately
- Maintain beneficiary records and perform beneficiary maintenance functions
- Administer medical bookings and assessments where required
- Deliver off-site grant application services to communities
- Scan, batch, and manage grant application files
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold service standards at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA in one of the following fields:
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Development Studies
- Finance / Accounting
- Commerce
- Social Sciences / Social Security
- Computer literacy (essential)
Applicants with foreign qualifications must ensure SAQA evaluation prior to selection.
