Overview
Cornwall Hill College, a leading independent school located in Irene, Pretoria, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join their team. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of the school environment while upholding the Christian ethos and values of the College.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 โ 16:00.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
-Clean windows, carpets, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
-Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
-Deep clean designated areas to maintain hygiene standards.
-Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
-Manage cleaning supplies and inventory.
-Support event setups and assist with light housekeeping tasks as required.
Requirements & Skills
-Minimum of 2 yearsโ cleaning experience.
–Matric certificate (Grade 12) required.
-Knowledge of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.
-Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
-Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
-Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
-Reliable, hardworking, and service-oriented.
