Overview

FNB Lesotho is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented IT Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating information systems controls, identifying IT-related risks, and providing assurance on the effectiveness of the bankโ€™s governance, risk management, and internal control systems. Key Responsibilities

-Conduct preliminary assessments of business areas and information systems to determine audit scope.

-Develop engagement letters and audit work programs for approval.

-Identify and evaluate IT risks and conduct IT audits in accordance with internal audit methodology and IIA standards.

-Apply Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) to improve audit efficiency.

-Document audit findings and consult with IT management to determine root causes and corrective action plans.

-Draft audit reports that present control weaknesses and offer value-adding recommendations.

-Continuously develop auditing skills through structured training and professional development.

-Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and IT departments.


Minimum Requirements

-Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

-2โ€“3 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services sector.

-Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) โ€“ preferred.

-Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) โ€“ advantageous.
