Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground mining machinery to transport ore safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-shift machine inspections and safety checks
• Perform risk assessments before commencing tasks
• Adhere strictly to mine health and safety regulations
• Maintain machine cleanliness and operational readiness
• Report mechanical faults or abnormalities to the relevant department
• Support production targets while ensuring zero-harm compliance

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Valid driver’s licence
• Medically fit to work underground
• Minimum of 2 years proven operating experience in an underground mining environment
• Strong understanding of underground mining safety protocols
